On Day Three the model was Darren, a young bodybuilder. We did more long poses, so there are fewer drawings to show. We discussed the anatomy of the arms and of the head.
On Day Four we went to the Royal College of Surgeons (a short way across St Stephen's Green from the RHA) where Prof. Clive Lee gave us an interesting talk about the history of anatomy and showed us a very grisly film of the dissection of the shoulder of a cadaver. Then he brought us on a tour of the College (built in the Eighteenth Century) ending at the college's beautiful, airy and spacious Anatomy Room where we saw some partly dissected cadavers. All very interesting!
